Tug-o-War

In the same group format of the soccer tournament, each team will compete in a tug-a-war competition. Teams will be made up of up to seven members of a sorority.  The winners of each group will then compete against each other.

In this case however if each team wins and loses one match, a tie-breaker will be based upon the speed of which each match tug-o-war was won. Each sorority will be guaranteed a minimum of 2 matches.

Unlike the soccer tournament, Tug-o-war will be based on an individual competition for each university. This will allow for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place to receive points toward their overall philanthropy.

Sand Castle Building Competition

All the Panhellenic sororities between the three universities will compete against one another to build the best sand castle.  In this competition there is no limit to the number of members that may participate.  The sand castles will be judged by San Diego Padre Kevin Kouzmanoff on a scale of one to ten in the categories of creativity, craftsmanship, design, and overall appearance.

Each sorority will be given a 5x5 area of sand to create their masterpiece, and all sand castle building tools must be brought by the coaches of each sorority. Again, the competition will be based on an individual level for each university, so that the winners may receive points toward their overall philanthropy.
